2025 Youth Risk Behavior Study

The Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) was designed by federal agencies and numerous state and local departments of education and health to help communities and schools collect data to discover, assess and target for intervention, the risky behaviors of students in its communities.  This data can be used to not only raise awareness and encourage community participation in collective efforts to prevent students' risky behaviors, but to also obtain assistance from state and federal organizations with an interest in funding intervention programs to address issues that could result in adverse, long-term consequences to our youth.

Goffstown High School is taking part in the 2025 Youth Risk Behavior Survey on January 10, 2025.  All students will participate unless an opt-out permission form is submitted to the School Counseling Office prior to the survey administration. The permission form is attached for convenience.

A sample of the survey can be found here or below.

To opt your student out, please complete this form and return to the School Counseling Office.
